Point Fund
NASCAR POINT FUND
5% of each NASCAR sanctioned class’ payout for the race night is tabulated and paid to NASCAR. This is what makes up each class’ points fund. Your points fund check is issued by NASCAR at the end of the season and comes directly from them, to you.
To be eligible you must meet the following requirements:
You must have a current NASCAR license for the division you are driving
You must compete in at least 85% of the set number of shows for your division, as set by NASCAR. For example if a full season was 100 shows, you would have to run 85 shows to be eligible for any awards and/or points fund money.
Rookie of the Year-JMS and NASCAR
To be eligible for Rookie of the Year, you must compete in 85% of the shows at JMS, in the division your are signed up in. You must also NOT have run more than 5 shows in that division in any previous year. For example if you only ran 3 races in a hobby stock 2 years ago, you can still run for hobby stock rookie of the year.
